Walbrzych Aqua Zdroj, the largest tourist and recreation centre in the entire Sudetes, located in the picturesque areas at the foot of the Chelmiec Mountain, it is much more than a regular water-park. The modern active leisure centre consists, among others, of a complex of sports and recreational pools with a hot tub, slides and a space for children, fitness facilities (gym, exercise rooms, squash courts), several types of saunas and stands for other types of wellness treatments, 2 training pitches and also, more importantly, a hotel with a restaurant and a conference room that can accommodate over 120 people. And this is just the beginning, because nearby there are health resorts in Szczawno-Zdroj and Jedlina-Zdroj, Grodno Castle, Cistercian abbey in Krzeszow, beautiful Table Mountains (on both sides of the Polish-Czech border), and in the Owl Mountains – remains of the famous Riese complex, one of the most mysterious constructions from the Second World War II.
