The bike is a great solution for those who value mobility but don’t want to lose touch with nature. Lower Silesia offers a wide selection of cycling routes – for less and more experienced cyclists, both in lowlands and mountainous terrain. Discover the region on two wheels!

Official website for Lower Silesian bike routes.

There are so many bicycle routes in the vicinity of Wroclaw, that everyone can choose something corresponding to their own technical and fitness capabilities. For example: the trail from Wroclaw starting under the Municipal Stadium and leading along the Odra river to Brzeg Dolny and back should appeal to road and mountain bike users.

In the lowlands and flat regions of Lower Silesia worth recommending are the cycling routes in the Barycz river Valley, offering the possibility of a peaceful rest in the beautiful nature. In the area of Boleslawiec there is the Lower Silesian Forest with interesting routes leading to, among others, two castles not far from the town – Kliczkow and Grodziec. Tourists visiting the Ksiaz Castle near Walbrzych can take advantage of the offer for a short and extremely pleasant trip around the Ksiaz Park or to get on their two wheels to the Chelmiec mountain, until recently considered the highest peak in Walbrzych Mountains.

Going further south, in turn, an ideal place for a bike trip will be the Karkonosze and Izera mountains. In the area of Szklarska Poreba itself there are several routes tailored to the needs of cyclists who want to spend their time traversing the mountains. Stopping for a short rest with the sounds of water falling through the cascades of Szklarka Waterfall or taking a section of the international cycling route ‘Liczyrzepa’ running through the entire Sudetes is an absolute must on such a trip! The Kaczawa Mountains and Foothills are also perfect for cycling – small hills should not cause problems even for less experienced cycling enthusiasts, and volcanic landscapes with such interesting formations as the so-called The Wielislaw Organ is a real paradise for everyone who is interested in the country’s natural heritage.
