Former gold mine in Złoty Stok (Kopalnia Złota w Złotym Stoku)

In addition, in the Gertrude Adit we can see exhibitions showing maps and plans of the mine from the eighteenth to the twentieth century (including the mysterious map of the Black Adit), in showcases old mining and metallurgical tools, minerals, an exhibition of mining lamps, a muffle furnace, i.e. a laboratory furnace, in which gold was smelted and the 18th century cart for transporting ore. Since 2008, tourists go outside the mine by the Underground Orange Tram – the biggest tourist attraction of the gold mine. After leaving the platform, the guide will thank you for your attention and encourage you to take advantage of additional attractions available in the mine yard, at the same time inviting everyone to delicious coffee or tea with a small dose of arsenic, a dose that is not harmful to health, but only causes addiction … from the the place, interesting people and adventure of Złoty Stok.
