It is one of the most popular and beautiful caves in Poland. It is also one of the longest and deepest. But there is much more to the “best” in Kletno. Because the local Bear Cave enchants, delights and makes us more apathetic to further discover Lower Silesia.

The name of the Bear Cave comes from the remains and bones of animals found there, especially the cave bear. It is horizontally developed on three levels. The most famous hiking trail is on the middle level. Here, the dripstone form is very well preserved and there is a large amount of bones of Ice Age animals.

The length of the halls and corridors in the cave is over 5 kilometers in total. While walking along the tourist route, we will see about 500 (but very spectacular) meters of various stone forations.

If, on the other hand, you feel that you want to see more, follow in the footsteps of the first explorers and play the role of cavers, it is also possible to go on an extreme route. Then, under the care of members of the “BEARS” Speleological Section from Kletno, equipped with overalls, helmets and lighting, you will go down to the old lower parts to see a completely different, less known Bear Cave.

Anyone who intends to visit the cave should prepare for it in advance. Appropriate clothing is one thing (the cave has a constant temperature of around 6 degrees Celsius), but because this tourist attraction is so popular (and worth seeing!) only booking your ticket in advance will guarantee you admission.

The Bear Cave is also the first cave in Poland open to the disabled. A special variant of the route is prepared here, which does not require climbing steep stairs.

Visiting the cave takes approximately 45 minutes and we guarantee that it will be an unforgettable time.
