On hot summer days, we very often decide to rest by the water. Swimming in the pool or at the bathing beach often turns out to be the only opportunity to take a break from the heat that prevails in the city. Where to find the right places to spend a hot weekend? After all, there is no shortage of natural and artificial water reservoirs in Lower Silesia.

Starting from Wrocław, it is worth remembering about the swimming pool at ul. Wejherowska, the swimming pool in Kłokoczyce, the Wrocław aquapark at ul. Borowska and three bathing areas – Glinianki, Morskie Oko, Królewiecka. The city beaches on the Odra River are also gaining more and more popularity (e.g. near the Milenijny Bridge, ZaZoo, Stara Odra Beach Bar and others).
In the vicinity of Wrocław, a new bathing area has recently been opened in the Paniowice mine, while the well-known and popular beaches on Lake Mietkowskie, at the pond in Jelcz-Laskowice, Pęgowo or Wilczyn Leśny, are still very popular. On the other hand, in Siechnica, the large Blue Lagoon bathing beach is open during the holiday season.
Among the beaches and bathing areas located a bit further from Wrocław, the list of potential leisure points during a hot weekend can be supplemented, among others, by the reservoir in Stare Bogaczowice near Wałbrzych, Lake Złotnickie in Złoty Potok, the so-called The northern bathing area in Legnica, the bathing area in Stara Morawa or the recreation center with the bathing area in the White Church near Strzelin.
