KAYTEK THE WIZARD is a 2023 Polish-Czech-Slovak family film directed by Magdalena Łazarkiewicz. This charming and magical movie is based on the novel by Janusz Korczak, a renowned pedagogue and teacher whose timeless work has shaped generations of Polish children. The story explores the magical world of childhood imagination, growing up, and improving the world, gently conveying Korczak’s core philosophy: every child deserves love, respect for their boundaries, and the freedom to dream. After all, who hasn’t dreamed of having magical powers? But what happens when that dream comes true?
