The Janowickie Ore Mountains are a small range in the Western Sudetes, lying in the area from the Beaver Valley in the north to the Kowarska Pass (727 meters above sea level) in the south, and between the Jeleniogórska Basin in the west and the Kamiennogórska Basin in the east. In the vicinity of Janowice Wielkie they border the Kaczawskie Mountains, and at Kowarska Pass they border the Karkonosze Mountains.
