BREAKING THE LIMITS

BREAKING THE LIMITS is a 2017 biographical sports film directed by Łukasz Palkowski, based on a screenplay by Agatha Dominik and Maciej Karpiński. The film tells the inspiring story of Jerzy Górski, a former drug addict who fought his way to a successful athletic career. The protagonist, a world-renowned athlete still relatively unknown in Poland, overcomes tremendous struggles, setbacks, and hardships. Jerzy completed the grueling Death Race and set a world record at the World Triathlon Championships by winning the Double Ironman with a time of 24 hours, 47 minutes, and 46 seconds.

His incredible achievement was fueled by the presence of two women in his life—one he lost, and the other who became his inspiration to fight for his life.
