The Games and Computers Museum of the Past Era is a space dedicated to the history of video games and classic computers. It was created as an initiative to popularize the development of entertainment technology and showcase the early days of digital entertainment.

At GiKME, you can learn about the history of video games and computing – by exploring historical artifacts and playing them to your heart’s content! Currently, you can see approximately 200 computers, consoles, and accessories from the second half of the 20th century, and play games at 30 stations (arcade machines, computers, and consoles). Visits are currently 1 hour and 45 minutes long.

Tourists can see old consoles and computers, play retro games, and learn how old devices work. There are often interactive booths, hardware exhibits, and interesting facts about the evolution of technology.

The museum also runs a popular YouTube channel, RetroGralnia, where it publishes materials about retro equipment, games, and the history of technology.

This phenomenal place that will transport you back in time is located in Wrocław within the walls of one of the oldest railway stations in Poland.
