Farm and palace establishment

The estate comprises a Baroque palace from 1720, the so-called Small Palace, which is less than a century younger, and a farm museum. The entire complex is surrounded by a romantic park bordered by the Bóbr River. The complex is managed by descendants of the pre-war owners, who restored this gem from complete ruin. Moreover, they have made Łomnica an important cultural center today. Throughout the year, young and old learn about traditional Polish cuisine, not only through tastings but also during hands-on activities in the specially designed “Landowners’ Kitchen.” Numerous fairs allow visitors to familiarize themselves with handicrafts, and the annual Flax and Gingerbread Festivals are important events in the region. Polish and German are spoken daily in Łomnica, and a growing number of foreign visitors are visiting the nearby transport routes.
