Tajemnicza Kraina Turisede

Kulturinsel is a place with a fascinating and mind-blowing story. The plot is wrapped around the civilization of the mysterious Turisede people. It is said that thousands of years ago they inhabited the area of central Lusatia and mastered to perfection the art of building in wood. You can learn about their fate and achievements by visiting the museum located at the main entrance.

Legend has it that one of the civilization achievements of the Turisedis was the custom of settling in tree houses. Hence, accommodations in wooden cabins are offered in the park. But if you think they are a few planks nailed together crosswise, you are very much mistaken! The cottages are little masterpieces – each of them is unique, differently equipped, each is patronized by a different spirit of the Turisede people (and speaking of spirits – each overnight guest here will experience the “Midnight Adventure”- a special game organized within the park). Most of the cottages are connected by above-ground terraces.

For lovers of adventurous overnight stays, in addition to treehouses, there are: Earthhouses, Forest Estate, Bivakum Tents, Wooden Beds, or Cocoons of Dreams – there is something for everyone’s pocket and imagination.

Z ludem Turisede i jego zwyczajami można się również zapoznać uczestnicząc w niezwykłym Krönum, czyli teatralnej uczcie. Jest to wyróżnione nagrodami show w postaci kolacji połączonej z przedstawieniem teatralnym. Widowisko odbywa się co prawda w języku niemieckim, ale polscy goście są niezwykle mile widziani.

Po polskiej stronie – Zakątek Turiusa

Park Przygody Kulturinsel rozpościera się także po polskiej stronie Nysy Łużyckiej, we wsi Bielawa Dolna. Również tutaj, w Zakątku Turiusa, czekają na gości liczne atrakcje – przyjazne zwierzęta we Wspólnocie Bawołów, Labiryncie Kóz, strzelnica 3D, Leśna galeria sztuki ludu Turisede. Wieża widokowa – Camera Obscura – daje niepowtarzalną okazje do obserwacji okolicy. Kawiarnia, w której zainstalowana została gra typu escape room „Tajemna kryjówka”, opowiada historię ekscentrycznego badacza dziejów Turisede, hrabiego Welldone. Celem jego poszukiwań był ponoć tajemniczy skrab Turisedyjczyków..Pierwsze wzmianki o jego bytności w Bielawie Dolnej pojawiają się w latach 60-tych XIX wieku. Wszelki słuch po nim ginie w dramatycznych okolicznościach w kwietniu 1945 roku… Dodatkową atrakcją tej kolorowej wioseczki jest bezsprzecznie Ogród Rzeźb, w którym można podziwiać drewniane dzieła sztuki autorstwa Pana Mieczysława Grabuńczyka.
