The building is the oldest masonry castle in Silesia. Its construction began as early as the second half of the 12th century, over the following three centuries the elements of the castle. In place of the previous hexagonal tower, a new one was erected, built on a circular plan – in this form it has been mostly preserved to this day. Today you can admire from it the Karkonosze range, the Jizera Foothills and the Kaczawskie Foothills.
