Archaeological workshops
Children take an active part in several stages of archaeological work in order to respect cultural heritage. The first stage is an excavation in the ground in groups of 2 at 7 stations simultaneously, led by an animator in medieval costume. The souvenir from the workshops are excavated rock crystals and amethysts. The next stage is assembling pieces of excavated ceramics. The third stage is an archaeological drawing signed using the runic alphabet. Children take the signed drawings with them. The fourth stage is the presentation and practical use of copies of monuments. Children dig in the ground with a stone hoe and chop twigs with a stone axe.
