ŚLADAMI ŚWWIGI I PIASTÓW ŚLĄSKICH TRZEBNICA – LUBIĄŻ – LEGNICA – LEGNICKIE POLE Thematic excursion “In the footsteps of St. Jadwiga and the Silesian Piasts”.

During the all-day trip in the program: visiting the largest foundations of the ducal family, ruling in the XII, XIII, XIV centuries, which went down in golden letters in the pages of Wroclaw and Lower Silesian history – castles in Wroclaw, Legnica, the Cistercian abbey in Lubiaz and the Cistercian monastery in Trzebnica. A visit to the battlefield of Legnica.

Departure from Wroclaw ( Sucha Street, PKS Station, Wroclavia Gallery) at. 7.15. Drive to Trzebnica. Visit to the International Sanctuary of St. Hedwig of Silesia. Drive to Lubiaz. Tour of the largest Cistercian monastery in the world (Church of the Assumption, Ducal Hall, Refectory). Transfer to Legnica. Tour of the Piast Castle (from outside) and the pavilion with exposed relics of the Romanesque Chapel. Walking tour of the Old Town in Legnica - St. John the Baptist Church and the Mausoleum of the Silesian Piasts, the Knights' Academy, the Market Square, the House under the Quail Basket, the City Theater, the Cathedral, the Old Town Hall, the Herring Houses, the New Town Hall, the Church of the Virgin Mary, relics of the defensive walls with the Chojnowska and Glogowska towers. Drive to Legnickie Pole. Visit to the Basilica of St. Hedwig of Silesia, a pearl of Silesian Baroque. Return to Wroclaw in the evening hours.
