Rich decorations, a charming outcropping on the walls and stories about hidden treasures during World War II are just some of the attractions that attract tourists to Grodziec. Czocha Castle – a magnificent defensive structure with a mysterious past, located on a high rock, on the Leśniański Reservoir. Torture room, underground passages, double walls, corridors and trapdoors. And the Mystery of the Cipher Fortress. You should hear about all this by taking a guided tour of the castle’s interior.

Program

Departure from Wroclaw (Sucha Street, PKS Station, Wroclavia Gallery) at 7.15 am (assembly at 7.00 am). Drive to Grodziec castle - approach a few hundred meters under the castle. A fabulous building, which in picturesque scenery rises on a basalt, post-volcanic, steep hill - 389 m above sea level. Drive to Czocha Castle. A magnificent castle with a mysterious past, picturesquely located on a high rock above a lake. In 1793 a fire turned it into a ruin. It regained its splendor in the early 20th century thanks to collector Ernest von Gutschoff. During World War II Czocha Castle was used for experimental research for defense purposes.
