The skiing conditions are good, but after the positive temperatures in the last days of December and in the first days of the new year, there may be losses in individual parts of the slopes, so before leaving with the intention of skiing, it is worth checking the image from the cameras provided to us on the resorts websites.

The Former Gold Mine in Złoty Stok

During the winter holidays, the mine invites you to the beautiful Złote Mountains (lit. Golden Mountains). There are two very interesting tunnels in the mine, an interesting museum in the building of pre-war owners of the mine and a medieval settlement – a wooden playground and experimentation town built in the style of medieval settlements. Due to its location, Złoty Stok offers very mysterious and charming hikes, and an extensive road network makes it easier to navigate between attractions. From here, you have 30 kilometers to drive to the slopes in Sienna (Czarna Góra Resort). On the way, it is worth stopping to see the panorama of the Złote Mountains. One of such places is the observation tower in Jawornik Wielki, to get to it, it is worth turning left just behind Złoty Stok and catching up a few additional kilometers.

Złoty Stok Mine is open daily, in the winter season, from 8:00 to 16:00.
